Welcome to the Cavalia Club, the place for Cavalia fans everywhere! Directed by Cirque du Soleil founder Normand Latourelle, Cavalia is an equine show like no other- they believe in horses as equals, and work with them onstage and off as complete partners. The equine directors, Frederic Pignon and Magali Delgado, come from the south of France, and bring with them approx. 20 amazing and beautiful Spanish horses, most of them being from their own and Magali's parents Lusitano farms.
There are 64 horses total and a large range of breeds, such as Quarter horses, Paints, Warmbloods, Percherons, a Belgian, Appaloosa, Friesens, and a Canadian horse. All of these horses are used in acts performed in Cavalia, such as dressage, trick riding, Roman riding, vaulting, bareback riding, and Frederic Pignon's specialty, Liberty, and all of these acts are done in front of a giant screen projected with beautiful images to match the scene, as well as emotional music provided live behind the stage, directed by award-winning musician Michel Cusson.

So, now that you know about Cavalia (or maybe you already did) just imagine all the wonderful art that could be done in celebration of this show and its amazing horses. We invite you to join and celebrate with us.

If you wish to submit a piece of artwork to the group:
1. It must be some form of Cavalia art or fan art. Whether this is recreating a scene from the show, doing a portrait of one of the artists, or making up your own, it must have something to do with it (this includes Templado art).



We do not accept submissions that are photographs of the show taken from the audience! On behalf of the club and the show, photography was never allowed during any part of the show!!!! Unless you had permission to take pictures like *Cavalia1, please do not submit them. THANK YOU!

Hello members! here! Just wanted to update everyone on where Cavalia is at the moment. They are curently doing a run in Montreal and will then be going to Chicago, so if any of our members live in either of these areas or know friends or family that do, GO SEE THE SHOW! In fact my friend and founder of the club is going to see the show tonight and tomorrow afternoon. I am sure that she will have plenty of details to share with you all. We have been in contact with the members of the show and she will most likely be seeing them afterwards, backstage...or shall I say in the back tent!
